Nonesuch Totally Awesome RN ROM) DOB: March 21, 2006 OVC Hips Clear/OVC Elbows Clear/OFA Thyroid Clear/CERF Clear In late 2005, I contacted Cheryl Poliak (Nonesuch Bearded Collies) about the possibility of a show puppy. I had admired Cheryl's dogs for quite sometime and after conversing back and forth through e-mail, I found out she had the perfect litter for us. In June, we packed up the Toyota Tercel and we drove over 2100 kilometers to pick Miles up from her in Pickett, Wisconsin. He was worth every minute of the long, oh so scenic drive down to Wisconsin and back. When it comes to conformation, Miles has it all. Stunning reach and drive, beautiful outline and a rock solid topline. He finished in Canada at a handful of shows and has been a multi-Group placer his first couple of times out as a Special. In 2009, Miles showed like a seasoned special and took Best of Breed at the Bearded Collie Club of Canada Specialty under breeder/judge Les Griffith. This was a win that we'll remember for quite sometime. In January 2011, Miles finished his American Championship. He ended up with three majors and his first day out as a Special, he took BOB over Specials and earned a 5 point major towards his AKC Grand Championship. Watch for him in the ring owner-handled by Jaimie St-Maurice. Miles will be working on obtaining performance titles in obedience, rally and agility and his Grand Championship titles in both CKC and AKC venues in 2011.
